What do you know about the protective measures that are in place to support adults at risk of harm in Scotland?

People from across South Lanarkshire are being asked to support a survey of community knowledge around Adult Support and Protection legislation and how it is being implemented.

South Lanarkshire Adult Protection Committee (SLAPC) has a responsibility to ensure those who are or may be at risk of harm are supported and protected, and continues to raise awareness and evaluate learning in relation to Adult Support and Protection in a number of creative ways.

A community survey has been launched to gain a better insight into the awareness and understanding of the Adult Support and Protection (Scotland) Act 2007(referred to as ASP).

The survey’s goal is to improve understanding of existing knowledge in relation to the Act and to identify where more support could be best provided for learning and developmental needs.

The information gathered will be used by SLAPC to continue to improve public information and community engagement in relation to Adult Support and Protection within South Lanarkshire.

The survey is short and should only take couple of minutes to complete and can be accessed here.
