Clyde Walkway repairs underway

Repairs to the Clyde Walkway between Mauldslie Bridge and Crossford are underway.
It means that the route will be closed at Waygateshaw for a period of approximately six weeks.
There will be no through route between these points due to structures being removed and replaced, although exit via Milton Lockhart Estate towards Carluke is possible if travelling from Mauldslie.
Executive Director of Community and Enterprise Resources, Kevin Carr, said: “We apologise in advance for any inconvenience these essential works may cause to users of the Clyde Walkway.
“We are sure everyone will appreciate the improved condition of the route when the works are complete.”
