Time to take part in the annual Big Wee Winter Stroll
Published: Thursday 22 January 2026
It’s that time of year again when we encourage everyone to get out and enjoy the great outdoors.
And what better way to do that than to sign up for the annual Big Wee Winter Stroll on Saturday 21 February.
This event is all about embracing the chilly weather and enjoying the beauty of the season. Whether you're a seasoned walker or just looking for a leisurely stroll, The Big Wee Winter Stroll is for everyone. Don't miss out on this great opportunity to connect with nature and fellow walkers.
Setting off at 1.30pm from the Fountain Hall in Lesmahagow, the annual mass-participation walk encourages people to get out and walk in the colder months.
This is a free event, and there will be a choice of a 1-hour or 30-minute stroll. The walk will go at a gentle pace suitable for all abilities.
After the walk participants are invited back to the Fountain Hall for a hot drink and an opportunity to browse various information stalls.
The walk is free to join but booking via Eventbrite is essential.
