Repairs to take place in Lesmahagow

Essential repair works are to take place on a road in Lesmahagow from next week.
Work on the north bound lane of B7078 Carlisle Road between B7018 Eastwood Road and Milton Bridge, will take place from 8am on Monday 1 December.
The road will be closed for up to three days to allow the works to be completed.
A diversion will be in place via: Eastwood Road, B7018, A72, B7086, B7078 and vice-versa
Head of Roads, Fleet and Transportation Services, Colin Park, said: “We apologise in advance for any inconvenience that may occur during these essential road improvement works.
“We would request that all road users allow additional time for all journeys which involve the use of B7078, Lesmahagow North bound during the period indicated and that they plan their journey accordingly.”
