Expansion for arts and crafts classes thanks to wish list

Tables donated through the Community Wish List will help a local charity expand their arts and crafts classes.
Agape Wellbeing provide free activities for service users who have mental health and wellbeing issues. They also have a free sensory hub for children aged up to three and seven.
They had requested tables through the wish list, with their request granted thanks to Findel Education who donated tables, paints and mats.
Agape Wellbeing Secretary Drew McKinney said: “We received six tables from the Community Wish List, these tables are for use for our arts and crafts group and means that we can expand the group in size, as demand is big for the arts classes.
“Thank you very much for this from all at Agape Wellbeing, it means so much to our group.”
Key Account Manager for Findel Education, Neil Scally, said: “At Findel, we view community engagement as integral to our mission.
“The Wishlist initiative has streamlined this process by providing a meaningful framework for selecting projects that resonate with our company's values.
“Being able to contribute to the well-being of local communities is a source of pride for us. We are grateful for the opportunity and look forward to continued collaboration in making a lasting difference.”
Chair of the council's Finance and Corporate Resources Committee, Councillor Lesley McDonald, said: "This is another great example of the Community Wish List and the benefits it can bring.
"I would like to thank all the companies for their very generous donations so far."
