You'll want to 'Stay' at this cracking Christmas gig
Published: Tuesday 24 October 2023

The band behind one of our best-loved festive hits will be at Lanark Memorial Hall this Christmas weekend.
East 17 took 'Stay Another Day' to the top of the tinsel hit parade in 1994 and it remains a Christmas party must-play almost three decades later.
So why not treat yourself to an early gift, or a party night with a difference, and listen to those church bells chime live and in-person on Friday, 22 December at 7:30 pm?
Originally a foursome and named after the postcode of hometown, Walthamstow, East 17 has undergone several line-up changes since bursting onto the scene in 1991. The current lineup features original member Terry Caldwell. Joining him to bring one of the UK's original boyband's greatest hits to a live audience is Joe Livermore, and former Artful Dodger collaborator Robbie Craig.
Included in the setlist are 'House of Love', 'It's Alright' and 'Deep' to name just a few of the hits now synonymous with the mid-1990s UK music scene.
Crowds around the world have continued to enjoy the group's music at venues from 2009's Glastonbury Festival to their 2017 tour of Australia & New Zealand with fellow '90s favourites Atomic Kitten, S Club 3 & Liberty X.
Tickets, priced £29 are on sale now from the online box office or directly from the venue on 01555 673199.
