Let us know your views on electric vehicles
Published: Monday 12 December 2022
South Lanarkshire residents are being encouraged to take part in a survey about electric vehicles.
Anyone who uses an electric vehicle, who intends to get an electric vehicle or is interested in influencing charge point locations should participate in the survey.
The survey findings will support the development of the council’s EV strategy, helping to identify the best locations and capacity of EV charging points in South Lanarkshire.
This has been funded by the Scottish Government to help reduce vehicle emissions and help meet government objectives for Net Zero emissions.
The survey can be completed online and remains open until 31 December.
Chair of the council’s Community and Enterprise Resources Committee, Councillor Robert Brown, said: “I know the subject of charging points is important to many people as they increasingly consider moving to electric vehicles. We want as many local people as possible to take part in this survey.
“We’re looking to understand their views and opinions on what a successful electric vehicle charging network should look like across the area.
“The survey will only take a few minutes to complete, and your thoughts and views will help shape the council’s EV strategy.”
