Webinars aim to transform local businesses
Published: Thursday 14 April 2022
A series of free digital webinars has been set up to help local firms transform their business and thrive in the digital world.
The two-hour ‘Innovation Masterclass’ webinars, hosted by field expert Colin Rose, will guide attendees through a variety of opportunities to advance their business and ensure it remains relevant.
The webinars are being run by E3 (community enterprise project delivered by Elevator UK in partnership with South Lanarkshire Council) as part of the Community Renewal Fund (CRF) which aims to support people and communities across the UK.
Colin Rose, webinar host, has more than 25 years of experience bringing new products to market, along with working with a wide range of businesses in a mentoring and advisory role.
Explaining what the term ‘innovation’ means to local businesses, Colin said: “Innovation isn’t a scary subject. I’ve been in the innovation business for more than 20 years and the best innovation is the simple innovation that every business can do. It’s just about improving what you do and taking simple, little steps to improve your business. That’s innovation. It’s not rocket science. Anyone can do it.
“It can be a new product, a new service, a new market, or even a simple thing like a new method to process invoices more effectively – that change that you make is innovation.”
“Do you need to be an expert at innovation? No. Because no step in the innovation journey is difficult. However, if you know all the steps, then you can embark on your own innovation journey and be successful at it. That’s the goal of the innovation masterclass.”
The webinars have limited spaces and will take place on the following dates:
- Wednesday 13 April (10am – 12pm)
- Friday 20 May (10am – 12pm)
