Nominations sought for Carluke Community Council by-election

Nominations are being accepted for anyone wishing to stand at a by-election to elect new members for Carluke Community Council.

If you are on the Register of Electors and think you have what it takes to become a member of Carluke Community Council, then you should lodge a completed, signed nomination form. The form should be counter signed by a proposer and seconder, both of whom must also be on the Register of Electors for this community council area. Please check the boundary map for this community council.

Completed nomination forms should be returned to Finance and Corporate Resources, Administration and Legal Services, Council Offices, Floor 2, Almada Street, Hamilton ML3 0AA no later than 4pm on Monday 6 September 2021.

The election will proceed in terms of South Lanarkshire Council's Scheme for the Establishment of Community Councils.
